We believe customers are hungry for “real service.” We live in a time when there is no service at service stations, personal banking is served by an ATM, and Facebook has turned the word Frien into a verb referring to connecting to a cyber person.
Our business formula is about delivering “real service.” The kind of service delivered by a human, face-to-face, personalizing to each customer’s requirements and doing everything possible to make the outcome satisfying. iSold It and its sister franchise company, Postal Connections stores, sell commonly available products and services to people with “real service” added. Customers are willing to pay a fair price for service to make their lives easier and more comfortable when it includes personalized attention from a trustworthy source.
iSold It stores are operated by franchisees who have invested in our “real service” business formula. They are trained experts in listing seller-customer items on eBay, Amazon, and other online marketplaces. To our stores each item left with us is unique. We photograph, write descriptive copy, apply complex online regulations, deal with buyers, protect and ship the item and pay our seller-customer. Millions do all these things themselves; but we know just as many would pay for “real service” and thousands come to do each month to iSold It stores.

Our franchise store network has been propelled by our customers who come to us looking to turn their items into cash. They want trustworthy service, reasonable selling fees, and convenience.
Since 2003, when iSold It became a franchise company and expanded throughout the U.S., customers have positioned us as the unparalleled leader in the eBay drop-off store category and the #1 seller on eBay. In 2009, the current franchisors purchased the iSold It store network. After careful analysis of the store business model, we decided to refine the business model to make the business more efficient and profitable to franchisee owner-operators.
Several cost cutting measures and revenue expansion opportunities have been developed. A new fixed cost reduction has been implemented allowing franchisees to be more competitive with seller-customer fees. We also are expanding products & services offered in selected current stores and in new stores positioning them as Neighborhood Logistics Centers™. These stores are evolving to combine online services with retail packaging, shipping, and business services. This store model presents many opportunities to add new customers and expand the “real service” concept to online and off-line transactions.
In a second strategy, several current stores and new franchises, now available, are locating in non-retail areas. These stores, identified as Auction Support Depots™, enable store owner-operators to focus on outbound marketing and promotion to small businesses and targeted consumers. Stores are located in mixed-used locations with other businesses and professional firms where occupancy cost is significantly reduced. Both models will continue to be branded as iSold It stores.
